Amy Chen
Insight Partners source, reviewed October 8, 2026: Amy joined Insight in 2022. She focuses on Insight's earlier-stage investments, where she leads due diligence on new investments and M&A. Amy also partners with founders and portfolio companies on scaling growth, with a particular focus on vertical software and AI businesses. Prior to Insight, Amy was a consultant at Bain & Company in their New York and Houston offices, where she advised F500 tech clients on go-to-market strategy and new product innovation. Amy graduated from Vanderbilt University with degrees in Quantitative Economics and Political Science. Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, what she likes to call the "true south", Amy enjoys concerts, rogue-like video games, vintage jewelry curation, and hunting down new coffee shops with friends.
