Amir Tamiz
Amir Tamiz directs NINDS translational research. He previously oversaw Blueprint Neurotherapeutics and IGNITE programmes linking neuroscience discoveries to therapeutic development. Before joining NIH in2012 he held drug-development positions at Corvas International, CovX and Alba Therapeutics. His doctorate is from Oregon, followed by Georgetown neuroscience postdoctoral work. His authentic BIO convention speaker photograph documents the same scientist; the current NINDS directory determines the present title.
