Alynda (Lyndie) Wood is publicly identified as acting chief of staff in NINDS’s Office of the Director. The institute’s staff and director-office material identify the role and acting designation. Her primary Emory graduate-school account describes prior neuroscience research on skill learning and participation in a science-policy advocacy workshop. The acting agency office is kept distinct from a research-grant principal investigator or personal institutional-investment check.
