Alex Maslowski, PhD, leads software at ZAP Surgical. His biography describes over twenty years of medical and scientific software development, including computational physics, distributed computing and radiation models. He earned nuclear-engineering bachelor’s and doctoral degrees at Texas A&M. He worked on Transpire’s Acuros radiation-dosimetry software before Varian’s 2014 acquisition and subsequently led algorithm, machine-learning and cloud development related to Eclipse. His expertise supports the company’s treatment-planning and software platform.
