Venture Kick
Venture Kick is a Swiss philanthropic early-stage entrepreneurship programme founded in2007, now an initiative within the charitable Kick Foundation, supported by a private donor consortium and operated under mandate by Venturelab Ltd. Its current primary governance page names a four-person strategy board and three external co-managing directors, while a rotating expert jury evaluates startup applicants; jury participation is not employee status. The programme supports science-based university ventures with funding, entrepreneurial coaching and access to networks. Stage-specific grants and convertible loans require separate cash and award qualification; current participation terms describe first-stageCHF10K, second-stageCHF40K and further support, while an isolated2026demo-brunch page mentionsCHF50Kstage2. This discrepancy is retained rather than assuming a universal entitlement or financing cash close. InnoBooster grants and independent Kickfund equity are separate legal programmes/investors, despite the shared ecosystem’s advertised million-plus opportunity. The foundation is the recorded institutional grantor platform; no second programme Investor is created for the same award. Historical Fondation des Fondateurs hosting and the2021foundation transition do not create another cash event. Authentic own logo, all seven published current programme governors/operators and their original portraits are included; donor representatives and more than250jury experts are not presented as staff.
