UpNano is a Vienna-based manufacturer of high-resolution 3D printing systems founded in 2018 from research at TU Wien. Its NanoOne printers use two-photon polymerization to create polymer structures from submicrometer features to centimeter-scale parts. The company combines printers, operating software, optimized resins and printing services for optics and photonics, microfluidics, micromechanics, sensors and medical devices. NanoOne Bio supports printing in a native cell environment for biofabrication and tissue-engineering research, while its Upscale service produces polymer microparts for customers. UpNano GmbH operates a US subsidiary, UpNano US Inc., in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
