Teragen Energy
Massachusetts-based energy technology startup founded in 2025 that develops modular solid oxide fuel-cell systems for onsite electricity generation at data centers, industrial facilities and utilities. Its technology originated at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and combines materials advances with modular engineering to improve power density, efficiency, responsiveness and cost. The systems are designed to operate with natural gas, hydrogen blends and other fuels, with options for energy storage and carbon capture. Teragen is expanding engineering, manufacturing and testing to move from laboratory prototypes toward initial commercial pilots.
