Sarcura develops an instrument platform for automated manufacturing of advanced cell therapies. It combines silicon photonics, semiconductor chips and microfluidic cartridges to detect, sort and manipulate individual cells while measuring and controlling the manufacturing process in real time. Its modular approach aims to shrink production equipment and reduce manual handling in workflows such as CAR-T cell therapy manufacturing. The Austrian company is developing its SiPlex prototype and the broader autonomous manufacturing platform.
