Sanodyne Therapeutics
Tokyo-based biotechnology company founded in April 2025 that develops medicines for peripheral neuropathy and neuropathic pain. Its lead program SNT-001 is an oral small molecule intended to relieve pain while promoting repair and regeneration of damaged peripheral nerves through a novel mechanism involving cytoskeletal factors. Target conditions include chemotherapy-induced and diabetic peripheral neuropathy and postherpetic neuralgia. SNT-001 completed Phase I testing and is being prepared for Phase II development. Originating from Toray research, the program is supported by an exclusive worldwide license. Sanodyne was formed with venture investors to develop the asset into a potential disease-modifying treatment; efficacy and regulatory approval remain to be established.
