London-based Imperial College spin-out developing wearable sensing and AI software to quantify Parkinson’s motor symptoms and support more personalised care. Its proprietary mechanomyography and inertial sensors measure muscle activity and movement, while algorithms estimate tremor, bradykinesia and rigidity. Its current StimSense system helps clinicians assess symptoms during deep brain stimulation programming and is intended to shorten and automate adjustment sessions. The wider platform supports symptom assessment, medication-response tracking, home monitoring and therapy evaluation. SERG reports a pilot study with Boston Scientific; these company-reported findings do not establish general regulatory clearance or treatment efficacy.
