Remos Space Systems
Remos Space Systems develops software-defined satellite ground communications and ground-station infrastructure. Its Expedite and Hasten modems run on standard computing hardware, on premises or in the cloud, to handle satellite telemetry, telecommand and payload downlinks. The company also supplies turnkey ground stations and its Umoja platform for scheduling, automation and coordination across owned stations, third-party equipment and ground-station service networks. Its capacity-building programme combines ground communications, mission control, simulation infrastructure and training for space agencies, universities and emerging satellite programmes. Founded in Luleå in 2021, the company commercialises work originating at Luleå University of Technology.
