Regenera is developing SpinoSave, an investigational regenerative therapy for spinal-cord injury that combines a patient’s own adipose-derived cells with a biodegradable hydrogel. The material is designed to be placed locally during surgery to provide a supportive environment for repair after injury. Its development combines biomaterials, tissue engineering and cell therapy; published research and regulatory designations support clinical translation, without establishing marketing authorization or approved clinical efficacy. Regenera GmbH is the Austrian group company headquartered in Vienna, registered in 2022. It holds the Swiss subsidiary Regenera SA and is the named sponsor of the European orphan designation for autologous adipose-derived stem cells intended to treat spinal-cord injury. The company reports an ILUM Tec seed investment announced in November 2022.
