Yokohama-based quantum-computing startup founded in July 2024 from research at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, with an R&D center at OIST. It develops distributed ion-trap quantum computers by combining ion-trap processors with optical microcavities and photonic interconnects. Its architecture aims to link multiple quantum processing units into scalable, fault-tolerant systems for demanding computations such as drug discovery, materials design and AI workloads. It holds an exclusive license to OIST technology and is developing prototypes and error-corrected systems; its published milestones are development goals.
