Proteine Resources
Proteine Resources is a Polish biotechnology company producing insect-based ingredients and pet food. It uses mushroom-industry by-products as feed for buffalo mealworms and processes the larvae into EntoPro, a functional protein ingredient intended to support pet nutrition and gut health. Its production system combines patented feeding processes with robotics, machine vision and AI-supported control of insect breeding and factory operations. The company supplies protein ingredients and private-label wet food and has developed the Veli pet-food brand. It is scaling modular production facilities near agricultural by-product sources to improve consistency and resource efficiency.
