PENTAS is a Japanese medical-device company developing and manufacturing devices and planning software for minimally invasive treatment of cerebral aneurysms. Its braided PENTAS Stent supports coil placement inside brain blood vessels, with a dedicated delivery microcatheter and a treatment-planning program that visualizes stent deployment and analyzes blood flow. The stent and accompanying planning program received Japanese approval in August 2022, followed by the microcatheter in February 2023. Its fluid-analysis software component is currently undergoing modification. Based in Kawasaki, the company also develops medical businesses and joined the GENARK group in 2025.
