Nura Bio
Nura Bio develops neuroprotective small-molecule medicines intended to halt axon degeneration and preserve neuronal function in neurological diseases. Its pipeline targets SARM1, an injury-activated enzyme that depletes NAD and triggers axon destruction, alongside research into neuron–glia immune regulation. Oral, brain-penetrant SARM1 inhibitor NB-4746 is in a Phase 1b/2a ALS study, while next-generation covalent allosteric inhibitor NB-9402 has entered first-in-human testing. The company combines structural biology, cellular and animal disease models, imaging and biomarker development to advance investigational therapies.
