Neurolentech
Neurolentech is an ISTA spinout based in Klosterneuburg, Austria. It provides patient-derived neuronal models and functional assays for neuroscience drug discovery, including epilepsy and autism. Its services combine electrophysiology, drug screening and transcriptional profiling across genetically diverse patient cohorts. It also supplies functional data for AI models in biology and neuroscience. Its founders include Carsten Pfeffer, Gaia Novarino and Christoph Bock. XISTA Science Ventures, then ISTcube, announced a seed investment in October 2021; ISTA subsequently reported a separate AWS Seedfinancing grant in 2022. Amounts were not disclosed in these sources.
