NOCD Inc. is a Chicago-based digital behavioral healthcare company specializing in obsessive-compulsive disorder and related conditions. Its licensed therapists deliver live video exposure and response prevention therapy, supported between sessions by messaging, symptom and ERP tools, and a patient community in the NOCD app. The company’s proprietary Noto platform uses AI-enabled tools for clinical documentation, scheduling, case management and therapist development; this supports clinician-delivered care rather than establishing autonomous diagnosis or a medication product. Founder Stephen Smith began designing the idea in 2014, and the current company story identifies its mission as beginning in 2015. NOCD publishes clinical outcomes research and serves patients across the United States and internationally where licensed. In January 2026, its investor 7wire Ventures reported NOCD’s acquisition of PTSD-care company Rebound Health and launch of Noto as a new parent-company platform; the NOCD brand and NOCD Inc. remain identified on the current service site.
