Monil
Monil is a Norwegian agricultural technology company developing virtual fencing and animal-monitoring systems for grazing livestock. Farmers use its mobile app to draw and change grazing boundaries, while solar-powered GPS collars guide animals through audio cues and provide location and activity data. The system supports rotational grazing, remote herd visibility and alerts, with additional analysis of behaviour and potential health changes. Founded in 2022 by engineers with low-power electronics experience, Monil combines collars, embedded software, connectivity and cloud services for cattle farmers in Norway and international markets.
