MedStorm Innovation develops medical instruments that monitor pain and nociception using skin conductance. Its wearable Pain-Nociceptive Sensor measures changes in sweating driven by sympathetic nerve activity and applies signal-processing algorithms to help clinicians assess responses to painful stimuli, awakening and nerve blocks. The system supports use during anesthesia and postoperative care, neonatal monitoring and veterinary applications, with connectivity to Philips and Masimo monitors and HL7 clinical information systems. Med-Storm Innovation AS is the Norwegian legal company behind the MedStorm brand.
