Galileo Ventures is an Australian pre-seed and seed venture capital firm that backs emerging founders developing AI software, robotics, hardware and deep technology for global markets. It often provides the first institutional cheque and supports companies through product development, commercialisation, recruitment and further fundraising. Its partners operate from Sydney, Melbourne and San Francisco, connecting Australian technical founders with US customers and investors. Founded in 2020 by James Alexander and Hugh Stephens, it has backed companies including Relevance AI, Andromeda Robotics, Kite Magnetics and brain-computer interface developer Fluent BCI. Its second fund adds follow-on reserves while retaining the focus on early technical teams.

The manager confirms a first close and limited partner Artesian confirms AUD15 million raised toward an AUD30 million target; the target is not raised capital. The ten-year vehicle reserves follow-on capital and connects Australian companies to US customers and investors. Fluent BCI is a named first Fund II investment.
