Gaianixx is a University of Tokyo spinout developing and manufacturing semiconductor materials. Its proprietary Multi-functional interlayer and dynamic lattice-matching process allow high-quality single-crystal thin films to grow across materials with different crystal structures, addressing defects and cost constraints in compound semiconductors. Its materials target sensors, power electronics, communications filters, LEDs and optical devices. The company operates a technical center and pilot production line in Yamanashi to supply samples and validate manufacturing processes with device makers.
