Elkedonia

Elkedonia is a Franco-Belgian biotechnology company launched in 2025, headquartered in Strasbourg with an affiliate in Charleroi. Built by Argobio from research led by Jocelyne Caboche at Sorbonne University, it develops small-molecule inhibitors of the intracellular ELK1 protein for treatment-resistant depression and other neuropsychiatric disorders. Its preclinical neuroplastogen program aims to restore neuroplasticity through a non-synaptic mechanism. Biomarker research and AI support its precision-medicine strategy for patient selection and development.
