Tokyo-based drug discovery startup founded in June 2024 as a spinout from Asahi Kasei, developing cancer vaccines and immunotherapies using Sonanos hyaluronic-acid nanogel drug delivery. Its platform carries cancer antigens to lymph nodes and targets cDC1 dendritic cells to stimulate tumor-specific T-cell responses. It is advancing nonclinical vaccine development for difficult-to-treat solid tumors and collaborates with academic and pharmaceutical partners on shared neoantigens and cancer immunology. Its programs aim to treat tumors and prevent recurrence; clinical efficacy is not yet established.
