Cyrano Therapeutics
Delray Beach, Florida clinical-stage biotechnology company developing drug treatments for persistent loss of smell and the resulting impairment of perceived flavor. Its lead investigational therapy CYR-064 is an intranasal theophylline formulation delivered as a targeted soft-mist spray; as a phosphodiesterase inhibitor it is designed to increase olfactory neuron excitability and restore smell function after viral infections. The company reported Phase II FLAVOR results in February 2026, including achievement of the primary safety endpoint and prespecified secondary smell-function endpoints, and plans Phase III development. Cyrano also explores applications in Parkinson’s disease, where smell impairment can be an early symptom. Its therapies remain investigational.
