Cambridge, Massachusetts neuroscience technology company providing functional MRI services, analysis software and brain-circuit insights for drug and device developers. Its cloud platform processes fMRI scans using specialized acquisition and artifact-correction methods to measure brain activity and connectivity across patients, scanners and clinical sites. It produces Brain Insight Reports and biomarkers that help researchers characterize disease subtypes, measure treatment effects and assess which neural circuits a therapy affects. Initial applications include mood and anxiety disorders and neurodegenerative disease. Founded by physician-scientists with psychiatric neuroimaging expertise, Ceretype also develops future clinical decision-support applications, which remain under development.
