CareLoop Health
CareLoop Health is a University of Manchester spinout developing digital monitoring and relapse prevention for people living with severe mental illness, initially psychosis. Its smartphone app collects daily patient-reported symptoms and offers self-management resources, while predictive algorithms identify changes from an individual baseline and alert care teams. A clinician dashboard supports monitoring, earlier intervention and integration with care pathways. The company works with NHS and research partners to evaluate and deploy its platform, with the aim of keeping people well in their communities and reducing crisis-driven care. Incorporated in 2021, CareLoop raised GBP 1.8 million in seed funding announced in January 2025.
