Biorea is an Ostrava-based Czech company commercialising technology from VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava that converts contaminated organic waste, including wood and plastics, into usable carbon materials. The process uses hydrothermal treatment followed by activation, neutralisation and drying, with potential applications in energy, electrical engineering and other industries. Biorea was co-founded within the IP Lab Ventures ecosystem.
