Atomontage
Atomontage develops Virtual Matter, a cloud-based volumetric computing and interactive 3D platform built on progressively streamed microvoxels. Its representation stores editable material volumes rather than only surfaces, allowing worlds and objects to be reshaped, destroyed, built and simulated while preserving changes. Creators can import meshes, photogrammetry and other scans, point clouds and volumetric datasets, then edit, remix and share them through a browser. The rebuilt 2026 platform adds optional AI agents for creating and modifying multiplayer games and persistent worlds, with instant play on mobile browsers and other devices. Beyond games and user-generated content, applications include archaeology, engineering and construction scans, underwater photogrammetry and biomedical imaging such as micro-CT and light-sheet microscopy. Founded in 2017 by Branislav Šíleš and Daniel Tabar, Atomontage is an active Makers Fund portfolio company.
