Anodyne Nanotech is a Boston biotechnology company developing transdermal delivery systems for chronic medicines. Its HeroPatch contains solid porous microneedles loaded with drug molecules; after application, fluid in the skin releases the medicine by diffusion while the needle structures remain intact and are removed with the patch. The platform is designed for multi-milligram doses of peptides and biologics, adjustable release profiles and solid-state formulations that reduce cold-storage requirements. Its development pipeline includes ANN-101, a once-weekly GLP-1 receptor agonist patch for obesity, ANN-102 targeting the APJ receptor for muscle loss, and a combined GLP-1/APJ program for sarcopenic obesity.
