Funding discrepancies (do not treat as two rounds)
- Company: $565K pre-seed, 5 Mar 2026, lead Betaworks + True + RRE + 3 angels
- PitchBook: $500K, 13 Nov 2025 (Camp date), Betaworks + True only
- Extra ~$65K is consistent with angels filling after Camp. Canonical round is 2026-03-05 / USD 565000.
Not confirmed — do not add
- Slack Fund and Fermont Capital are Camp syndicate partners on the Betaworks camp page. Nubrain did not name them on this deal.
- Individual check sizes and valuation: undisclosed.
Data / product claims vs paper
- Site: 500,000+ EEG recordings; Berlin + New York collection; zero-shot / cross-subject generalization; Human Mind API + headset waitlist.
- Paper: ~240k word presentations, ~49 h dry 19-channel EEG, one densely sampled participant; 1-2 sessions from ~60 others collected but not reported; open-vocab silent-reading proxy (not deployed thought-to-text); log-linear scaling, no saturation.
- Jul 2025 startup.network pitch: mBrainTrain pilot; pricing sketch $19-$99/mo, $500-$5k/yr, enterprise $50k+/yr, OEM $50-$150/device — old fundraising material, not contracts.
People that do not fit cleanly
- Anthilia Alchanat — paper co-author, affiliation nubrain; no public investor/founder page, not added as a record.
- Maastricht University / Oxford / Goldman Sachs — no Organization records created (universities/banks are not Company/InvestorFirm fallbacks).
- Restack was added as a Company only so Philippe Brule's CTO role can attach. Restack did not invest.
Do not confuse with INBRAIN Neuroelectronics, NUBRAIN ANALYTICS PRIVATE LIMITED (India), or the piracetam brand Nubrain. SHOW MORE
